Animalators was conceived in the offices of Identity Visuals, where Samuel Cowden and Zac Dixon wanted to create something that would encourage, inform, and inspire the animation community on a regular basis. The name is a result of raucous office banter that unknowingly perfectly described the typical animator—a person with an animal-like hunger to create better things through animation.
